Dr. Claire Houston, Faculty of Law, Western University, Dr. Rachel Birnbaum, School of Social Work, King’s University College, and Professor Nicholas Bala, Faculty of Law, Queen’s University, are undertaking a project to study how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected access to family justice services in Ontario - and they're seeking your input.

TORONTO – The legal community came together on Thursday evening to celebrate outstanding members of the profession who have made exceptional contributions to the practice of law in Ontario and to the Ontario Bar Association. This was the first OBA Awards Gala in three years, after the popular event was sidelined due to public health measures brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The course on Inter-jurisdictional support proceedings under the Divorce Act is now available on the Justice Canada website. This free and accredited course on inter-jurisdictional proceedings under the Divorce Act is the last course of a series of six on the Divorce Act amendments available to the public.

The Department of Justice Canada would like to invite you to participate in the 2022 National Family Law Survey (NFL Survey), which will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. This year the focus is on child support. The NFL Survey launches today and will close on August 31, 2022.
