LAO Announces Changes to Panel Lawyer’s Annual Self-Reporting Requirement

The Ontario Bar Association congratulates OBA Treasurer Ranjan Agarwal for receiving the South Asian Bar Association Toronto’s 2019 President’s Award.

On July 7, 2019, LAO implemented service changes across the province in order to align our operations to our provincial funding allocation for 2019. A principle we followed as part of this process was to monitor and adapt services as required. We have now determined that there is capacity to provide some additional family duty counsel services.

Everyone needs a will that is properly drafted. That’s the message the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and its members will once again be promoting this month as they mark Make A Will Month with nearly 80 free legal information sessions in every region of the province.

The Family Law Limited Legal Service Scope project is the result of an unprecedented collaborative effort of the Ontario family justice community.
