Tell us about yourself.
I am a third-year law student at Osgoode Hall Law School. I am currently involved with the OBA as the Student Member of the Womens Lawyers Forum, and as the Osgoode Hall Ambassador in the Student Section. During school, I work part-time at Lawrence Lawrence Stevenson LLP, in the Litigation Group, and will be returning to that firm to complete my articles.
Why did you join the WLF Executive?
I think it is important to become involved in the community, and in various organizations, at an early stage in your career, so I decided to join the WLF Executive. As a result, I have been able to network with smart, amazing women from various areas of practice, and have already been given many opportunities to get involved. I knew how active the WLF was in putting together CPD events and programs, and that being a part of this executive would mean that I would be able to get involved with the OBA in a meaningful way.
