It was also shared that those waiting for an issued certificate of appointment of estate trustee may have better luck going to the court in person, if possible, to try to locate the certificate.
Several BBLers shared that it’s common in Ottawa to submit as part of the probate application, a self-addressed prepaid envelope, which the Estates Court then uses to mail back the issued certificate once the application has been processed. Some attendees have also had success doing this in Toronto.
