OBA Announces 2020-2021 Board of Directors

TORONTO – Following the close of the election today, the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) is pleased to announce its 2020-2021 Board of Directors. With the combination of experience and new perspectives, the board is ideally suited to continue supporting the profession through the current crisis and into the future.

Ontario Government Announces Creation of the Ontario Land Tribunals

On June 17th, the provincial government announced the creation of the new Ontario Land Tribunals (“OLT”).  The OLT, chaired by Marie Hubbard, will be made up of the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, the Environmental Review Tribunal, the Board of Negotiation, the Conservation Review Board and the Mining and Lands Tribunal.
