The Ontario Bar Association’s Insolvency Law Section, presented the OBA Murray Klein Award for Excellence in Insolvency Law, to Jay A. Swartz on June 5th, 2017. Friends, family and colleagues gathered to celebrate Mr. Swartz significant contributions to the profession.

OBA’s Insolvency Law Section, the Commercial List Users’ Committee and OAIRP Educational Program members enjoyed an annual retreat and reception on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the Richmond Hill Golf & Country Club.

This program offered a unique opportunity to hear from three judges who, until recently, practised in the areas of commercial litigation and insolvency law, and who decided to make the move to the bench.

On May 22, 2014 Michael B. Rotsztain was presented the Murray Klien Award for Excellence in Insolvency Law.

On May 29, 2013 Gale Rubenstein was presented the Murray Klien Award for Excellence in Insolvency Law.
