The Ontario Bar Association, Family Law Section (the “Section”) wishes to congratulate the Action Committee on Access to Justice in Civil and Family Matters (the "Committee") on the excellent work on the Beyond Wise Words Report (the "Report") dated December 19, 2012.

We are writing on behalf of an Ontario Bar Association ("OBA") working group that has been established to address the growing issues surrounding court and tribunal appointed assessors who are the subject of inappropriate complaints to their professional colleges.

The Ontario Bar Association appreciates the opportunity to provide comments to the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (“FSCO”) on the proposed Family Law Forms which will support the new regime for the valuation and settlement of pensions upon marriage breakdown.

The Ontario Bar Association (“OBA”) appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Draft Third Party Processes Policy (the “Policy” or the “Draft Policy”) produced by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (“CPSO”).

The Ontario Bar Association (“OBA”) appreciates the opportunity to provide comments on the draft regulation regarding pension asset division on marriage breakdown (the “Draft Regulation”).
