Amendments to the Rules of Civil Procedure

On July 1, 2014, amendments to the Rules of Civil Procedure came into force allowing the Court to stay or dismiss proceedings and motions, on its own initiative, which it considers frivolous, vexatious, or an otherwise an abuse of the process of the court.
