Description

CCPartners, currently ranked as a Tier 1 Labour and Employment Law Firm in Toronto by Best Law Firms - Canada, is seeking an experienced associate to join its team based out of main office in Mississauga.

Since its inception over 25 years ago, CCPartners has been a trusted legal and strategic advisor to employers. The firm has an excellent client base and represents provincially and federally regulated employers in both private and public sectors throughout Canada. Its lawyers work closely with clients to develop an in-depth understanding of their business needs and provide them with practical and effective legal solutions.

CCPartners knows its success depends on its people. The firm respects its associates and takes extra measures to facilitate their growth and professional development. It has a generous compensation structure and very reasonable targets designed to promote quality of work over quantity. Associates are given a good deal of responsibility early on and work closely with partners to maximize their exposure to the firm’s practice areas and clients. In developing its associates to become partners, the firm encourages (although does not necessarily expect or require) associates to build and develop their business. It provides support through such means as sponsorships and reimbursements for business development opportunities.

CCPartners is also committed to providing an inclusive workplace that embraces and respects differences.  It supports and promotes the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of best practices and strategies to enhance and improve equity, diversity and inclusion within the firm, in advising clients and in the greater community.

The firm is currently seeking an associate with compatible practice experience and values. The right candidate will bring strong academic and practice credentials, a demonstrated interest and experience in labour and employment law and confidence to run matters and deal directly with clients (with appropriate oversight). 3 to 5 years of Post-Call experience is the anticipated range, but the firm is open to good candidates outside of that range.

This is an ideal opportunity for an employment and labour associate who resides in the GTA West and wants to work at a top firm. If interested, please contact Trevor Branion at trevor@branionwilliams.com. Applications submitted directly to the firm will be redirected.
