The Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT) will be moving to the Sensitive Content Management (SCM) service which is now available. This is to ensure continued service for LAT’s stakeholders as EATS will be decommissioned effective March 1, 2024. Lawyers have the option to begin using SCM immediately. The Enterprise Attachment Transfer Service (EATS) will be decommissioned, effective March 1, 2024.
These systems are used by parties when sending large files and/or email attachments to LAT. Key benefits of SCM include:
- Improved Attachment Handling: SCM supports larger attachments, with a maximum upload combined size of 100GB, facilitating the exchange of substantial files securely.
- Enhanced Security: SCM employs advanced security measures to safeguard your sensitive data, ensuring a secure communication environment.
- User-Friendly Interface: The SCM interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate, providing a seamless user experience.
To enroll: To receive an invitation to the new SCM service, you must first request an invitation by emailing LATregistrar@ontario.ca with the subjective line: “Requesting Invitation to Sensitive Content Management (SCM) Service.” Upon receiving your request, we will send you an invitation.
