Commencing Wednesday, September 9, 2020, there will be a soft launch of the video bail pilot at 14 division in courtrooms 111 (provincial matters) and 114 (federal matters) at Old City Hall. During the soft launch:
- justices of the peace, provincial and federal Crowns, duty counsel and accused at 14 division should participate in video bail hearings via JVN webRTC video. Access https://join.jvn.jus.gov.on.ca and enter the below appropriate meeting ID and participant code; and
- defence counsel, agencies, interpreters and sureties supporting new arrests from 14 division should continue to participate by audio; however, via JVN webRTC audio and not by conference call. Dial 416-581-5257 and enter the below appropriate meeting ID and participant code.
