The OBA congratulates Justice Charles Chang on his appointment to the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario

The Honourable David Lametti, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, has appointed Justice Change to the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario in Milton. Justice Chang practiced commercial litigation with a focus on complex corporate and commercial disputes, construction and employment matters. He has also volunteered with the Coach Advisor Network and Articling Mentorship program.

The OBA congratulates the Honourable Mohammed M. Rahman on his appointment to the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario

he Honourable David Lametti, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, has appointed Justice Rahman to the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario in Brampton. Justice Rahman was appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice (Brampton) in 2016 and prior to that he worked several years as a federal prosecutor with the Department of Justice and the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.

OBA Extends Presidency of Karen Perron

Karen Perron will continue as OBA President for the first six months of the 2022-2023 term. The decision comes following the appointment of 1st Vice-President Ranjan Agarwal – who was the incoming president – to the Superior Court of Justice.
