Elizabeth Hall named new OBA Executive Director

After an extensive search process, The Ontario Bar Association (OBA) is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Hall is returning to the OBA, taking over the executive director position held by Steve Pengelly who announced his retirement in the fall of 2017 after more than a decade in service to the Association.

On October 26, 2017, the Pensions and Benefits Law Section of the OBA sent a letter to the Ministry of Finance highlighting some of the issues we viewed as critically important for them to consider as they continue to draft legislation implementing the Financial Services Regulatory Authority.
