In accordance with the OBA By-law, all members are hereby advised that the OBA annual meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 7 p.m.

The OBA congratulates the Honourable Michael G. March on his recent appointment to the Ontario Court of Justice.

The Ontario Bar Association congratulates those voted to Canadian Lawyer’s Top 25 Most Influential list for 2016, including the several OBA members honoured.

Please note that the OBA office will be closed as of 1 p.m. on Friday, July 29th, and on Monday, August 1st. We look forward to returning to full member service the following Tuesday.

The OBA welcomes the 2016-2017 Young Lawyers Division - East Region Section Executive. The new executive takes over in August 15th, 2016. The Young Lawyers Division - East Region executive is responsible for facilitating learning, advocacy and networking on behalf of the Young Lawyers Division - East Region section.

The Superior Court of Justice has established a publication ban notification system, which can be accessed through the Court’s website.

The Ontario Bar Association extends its congratulations to Paul Schabas on being elected as the new Treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
