On May 1st, 2019, the OBA Public Sector Lawyers Section proudly presented the OBA Tom Marshall Award of Excellence for Public Sector Lawyers to Richard Steinecke. The event was held at Twenty Toronto Street Conferences and Events.

On December 4, 2017, the Public Sector Lawyers Section hosted a welcome reception for articling students and LLP candidates. Janet Minor, former Treasurer of the Law Society, attended as the keynote presenter.

The Ontario Bar Association’s Public Sector Law Section, presented the OBA Tom Marshall Award for Excellence in Public Sector Law, to Voy T. Stelmaszynski on May 25th, 2017. Friends, family and colleagues gathered together at Twenty Toronto Street Conferences and Events to celebrate Mr. Stelmaszynski’s significant contributions to the profession.

On November 11th, the Public Sector Lawyers Section, in partnership with the Young Lawyers Division and Student Division held an early evening reception. The Honourable Madam Justice Andromache Karakatsanis of the Supreme Court of Canada was this year's keynote presenter.

On May 25th, the Ontario Bar Association Public Sector Lawyers Section celebrated the contributions and achievements of The Honourable Howard I. Wetston Q.C., honouring him with the 2016 Tom Marshall Award of Excellence for Public Sector Lawyers. Held at Twenty Toronto Street Conferences and Events the evening featured a Keynote Address from The Honourable Paul Crampton, Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Canada, as well as Alan Lenczner, Murray D. Segal.

Ron Ellis, Q.C. was joined by many friends, colleagues and family members on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, where he was awarded the OBA Tom Marshall Award of Excellence for Public Sector Lawyers. The award dinner tool place at Twenty Toronto Street Conferences and Events in Toronto.
