The OBA’s Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law Section presented a panel program titled “Diversity and Inclusion in the Courtroom” by webcast on April 8, 2020, as part of the OBA’s Inclusive Leader Series.
On the panel were Prothonotary Angela Furlanetto (Federal Court), Justice Russell Juriansz (Court of Appeal of Ontario), and Justice Sandra Nishikawa (Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, Toronto Region), who shared personal anecdotes, insights and advice in a thoughtful discussion moderated by Section executives Daniel Daniele (Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP) and Amrita V. Singh (Bereskin & Parr LLP).
Below summarizes some highlights of the Q&A discussion. A recording of the program is accessible via the link above (complimentary to CBA members).
