At the OBA Foundation, we are committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion as essential elements of the justice system. We fund projects that promote legal education and access to justice such as programs in marginalized communities, high school trial moots across the province, fellowships in law and ethics, and much more.

But there’s still more work to be done. Many face significant obstacles.

We have recently launched the NEW OBA Foundation Scholarship to assist deserving students to realize their dreams of becoming lawyers. Hardships prevent many people from attending law school. The Scholarship will help more students overcome obstacles to achieve their goals.

We are currently raising $500,000 to endow the OBA Foundation Scholarship. With your support we will improve access to legal education in Ontario and create a more inclusive bar.
