OBA Foundation raises over $10,000 for Fellowships Through Online and Live Auctions!
Thanks to all the donors and participants in the OBA Foundation’s inaugural fundraiser, “Repartee”, held on June 13th, more than $10,000 was raised to support the OBA Foundation Chief Justice of Ontario Fellowships in Legal Ethics and Professionalism!
The Honourable Justice Goudge of the Ontario Court of Appeal brought greetings on behalf of the judiciary at the fundraising party at OBA, congratulating OBA for its vital role in taking on the responsibility of funding and administering the Fellowships. Attendees ate, drank and bid on great silent auction items. There was a frenzy of bidding on the online auction site as the deadline approached, pushing the amount raised over $10,000. Great bargains were had by all!
Special thanks to the sponsor of Repartee, Harcourts and to the donor of the featured online auction item, LASIK MD.
