Bill C-78, introduced in the House of Commons on May 22, 2018, proposes significant changes to the federal Divorce Act, the Family Orders and Agreements Enforcement Act and the Garnishment, Attachment and Pension Diversion Act.

The Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General has announced that civil claims online filing has expanded, again, and will now permit filing additional documents including defences.
