It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Ontario Bar Association member Lauren Rachlin on March 18, 2016.
Called to the Bar in the United States in 1952, Lauren became an OBA member in 1989. He sat on the Business and International Law sections since 1999 and was a driving force behind the development of the OBA-NYSBA (New York State Bar Association) Ontario-New York Legal Summit and the Business Law Executive, International Business Law Sub Committee.
“Lauren was a great contributor to the OBA business law section and inspired us all with his energy and his exuberance for new ideas,” said Business Law Section Chair Lydia Salvi. “He was a mentor, guide and teacher to generations of young lawyers. But most of all, he was a remarkable man. He will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him.”
Funeral services were held in Buffalo, NY on March 21, 2016.
