Pascale Daigneault gives update to Sudbury and District Law Association
OBA President Pascale Daigneault was in Sudbury February to provide an update on OBA activities to members of the Sudbury and District Law Association.
Daigneault spoke about the new “Find A Lawyer” feature on the OBA website and encouraged members who have not already done so to “opt in.” The feature allows searches to be done by name, by firm, by area of practice, or by languages spoken. It is a great benefit both for members and for the general public.
Daigneault spoke about the OBA’s successful “Why I Went To Law School” campaign. She also provided an update on Ryerson University’s new Law Practice Program, which is an alternative path to the licensing of lawyers in Ontario.
Daigneault’s visit to Sudbury is the latest stop in an extensive “President’s tour” of the province.
