Conway writes very personally about need for power of attorney
Tom Conway, Treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada, says making a Power of Attorney and deciding to register to donate one’s organs are “two vital life decisions” that everyone must make.
Conway says this came home to him in a very personal way in the months preceding the recent death of his own father, who had lost the capacity to make decisions for himself.

Conway praised the recent campaign conducted recently by the OBA and the Trillium Gift of Life Network encouraging people to make a POA and to register to donate their organs.
"I commend the OBA and the Trillium Gift of Life Network for raising awareness about two vital life decisions we all need to make," Conway writes.
