Student Division
The purpose of the Student Division Executive (SD Executive) is to establish an OBA presence at Ontario law schools, facilitate and encourage participation in SD activities, promote CBA-OBA membership to law students and articling students, identify important student issues and advocate to the OBA on behalf of student members.

SD Executive Governance
The Student Divison Executive is governed by the OBA's By-laws and the Student Division Constitution.

Section 8 of the SD Constitution outlines the current appointment and election process.
SD Executive Positions and Responsibilities
The duties of the officers and ambassadors of the SD Executive are set out in Section 6 of the Student Division Constitution. The SD Executive provides a challenging and dynamic opportunity for members to interact with their peers and be pro-active on student member issues.
Responsibilities include: keeping apprised of current student issues and reporting to the SD Executive; liaising with the Career Services Development department of your law school; promoting and assisting with OBA events in your region; encouraging students to become members of the CBA-OBA.
