Biography
Dr. Salih worked with the UK National Health Services for over 10 years before becoming a lawyer. He always applies a patient-centered approach and treated his patients with empathy, respect, and dignity. His strong interest in the plight of the vulnerable and passion for patients’ advocacy informed his decision to study law.
Dr. Salih studied Bar Practice Program at the Inns of Courts School Of Law, London, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2008. He worked with Law Firms and Non-Governmental Organizations and provided legal assistance to clients from various walks of life. His interest in the plight of victims of human trafficking for domestic servitude informed his Ph.D. study at the Middlesex University London.
In Canada, Dr. Salih volunteered with several organizations including the Community Legal Aid. He partakes in the Law Practice Programme at Ryerson University and completed his placement with the City of Toronto Legal Services.
Dr. Salih is a member of the UK Bar Council, the Honourable Society of the Lincolns’ Inn, the Law Society of Ontario, Canada Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, and Toronto Lawyers.
With combined 12 years of experience in civil litigation and extensive health care experience, Dr. Salih has developed great client-centered litigation skills.
Dr. Salih’s areas of practice are personal injury law, corporate and commercial law, labour and employment law, residential real estate, and wills, estates, and trust law.
