Biography
Dustin is Counsel at nNovation LLP, where he practices in privacy, commercial, and cybersecurity law. Dustin began building expertise in technology and privacy law while studying at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. During his studies, Dustin worked as a research assistant to technology law pioneer Ian Kerr, interned at the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic, and was a member of the faculty’s Law and Technology Student Society. Dustin provides actionable advice on both public sector and private sector privacy law compliance, data breach response, consumer protection, and commercial agreements. He has presented on privacy law topics to the Ontario Bar Association, International Association of Privacy Professionals, and guest lectured at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law.
