Biography

William Keele received his law degree from the University of Windsor in 2009. While in law school, Will volunteered at the Faculty of Law’s Community Legal Aid Clinic. He also represented Windsor Law at the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Advocacy Competition where he won awards for best opening address, best direct examination and best team. As a student, Will spent a summer working at a Toronto insurance defence firm where familiarized himself with defence tactics and strategies.

After completing his articles with McLeish Orlando, Will was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010 and continues to work for McLeish Orlando as an Associate.

Will has dedicated his practice to plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death cases, including occupier’s liability, products liability and disability benefits claims. He has appeared as counsel before various levels of Ontario courts including the Small Claims Court, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Superior Court of Justice.

Will co-authored papers for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Continuing Legal Education Program, the Canadian Bar Association and contributed to Ontario Courtroom Procedure, third edition. Will is also a member of the Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

In Will’s spare time, he enjoys attending concerts, running, and spending time with his family.
