Biography
Dana Lue is an associate at Ricketts, Harris LLP with a focus on family law. Dana prides herself on balancing a client’s emotional needs with cost effective legal advice that will resolve matters as efficiently as possible. She has worked on cases ranging from custody and access disputes, to high-value property files and to protection cases involving the Children’s Aid Society.
Prior to articling at the firm, Dana was an avid volunteer and later an employee with Pro Bono Students Canada where she assisted unrepresented litigants in provincial family court. In the Wills Project, Dana prepared wills and powers of attorney for low-income individuals.
Dana was a summer student at one of Toronto’s largest criminal law firm where she gained invaluable experience in court, working on a wide range of criminal matters. She articled at Ricketts, Harris LLP, working on family law, real estate, civil litigation, wills and estates, and employment matters.
Outside of the office, Dana enjoys activities such as rock climbing, portaging and hiking in the summer, and skiing and watching movies in the winter. She loves travelling, and even completed a two month exchange in Prato, Italy.
