Biography
Kim Ozubko is General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Eckler Ltd.
Prior to joining Eckler Ltd. Kim worked in-house at RBC where she advised internal stakeholders on risk management and mitigation and best practices in the area of pensions and other group savings plans.
Kim has practiced pensions and benefits law at several international law firms and at an international pension consulting firm. During her years in private practice, she advised clients on all legal and regulatory matters related to the implementation, administration and governance of pension, group benefit and other retirement savings plans, including advising clients on the development of pension and employee benefit plans as well as on plan mergers and conversions, pension fund investment, fiduciary duties and ongoing regulatory compliance. She has been recognized as a leading lawyer by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in the area of Pensions and Employee Benefits and by Best Lawyers in the area of Employee Benefits Law and is currently co-director of the Osgoode Certificate in Pension Law.
