Biography
Harvey J. Kirsh, B.A. (Tor.), LL.B. (Osg.), LL.M. (Harv.), C.S. (Constr.), C.Arb., is a recognized authority in construction law, and has more than 45 years of experience in the arbitration, mediation, adjudication, and litigation of complex construction and commercial disputes arising out of public-private partnerships (P3), infrastructure, transportation, energy, resource, industrial, commercial, and institutional projects, both domestically and internationally. In addition to being the Founding President, Governor and a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers, he also has the distinction of having been elected as a Fellow of both the College of Commercial Arbitrators and the American College of Construction Lawyers. Harvey has also been selected as the recipient of the Ontario Bar Association's Awards of Excellence in both Alternative Dispute Resolution and Construction and Infrastructure Law. Harvey has authored numerous books and articles and has chaired conferences and seminars throughout North America on construction law and alternative dispute resolution. He is also Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Construction Law Reports and Founding Editor of the Construction Law Letter.
