Biography
Natalie Mullins is a partner in the Toronto office at Gowling WLG, practising in the Environmental Litigation and Commercial Litigation groups. She has appeared in all levels of Ontario Courts, including the Court of Appeal and has conducted several trials, private arbitrations and administrative hearings. Natalie has a focus and specific expertise litigating and advising clients on environmental matters, in particular, complex, multi-party land contamination disputes. She has prosecuted and defended numerous claims arising from on-site property contamination and off-site migration of contaminated substances and was counsel to the successful plaintiff in Canadian Tire Real Estate Ltd. v. Huron Concrete Supply Ltd. In connection with her commercial litigation practice, Natalie litigates a broad spectrum of matters, including claims for breach of contract, fraud, oppression, and director and officer liability. Natalie acts for several large oil companies and clients in various other industries, including manufacturing, real estate, insurance and mining. She also represents individuals and municipalities.
