Biography

Dasha is a confident and compassionate litigator with a focus on labour and employment law. A trusted problem solver, Dasha provides counsel that reflects her clients’ needs and protects their interests by ensuring that compliant policies, procedures and bylaws are in place. She is a former Canadian national team athlete and two-time Pan American champion, and brings the same level of focus and competitive energy to helping her clients meet their business objectives. Dasha is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group and Workplace Law Group. Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, professional liability, constitutional litigation and compliance and risk solutions. She works with a variety of companies and organizations on various employment-related matters, such as drafting contracts and policies. She also has experience with unionized environments, including labour issues, and assists various sports and arts organizations, with a focus on governance. Dasha has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and as co-counsel at the Supreme Court of Canada in Her Majesty the Queen v. Gerard Comeau in 2017.
