Biography
Girvin Devitt has been practicing law in Peterborough, Ontario and the surrounding area since being called to the bar in 1975. Girvin first took an interest in the law during university. He earned his undergraduate degree at McMaster Unviersity, and completed his formal law degree at Osgoode Hall in Toronto.
Girvin first opened his legal practice on Chemong Road in Peterborough, Ontario, followed quickly by a satellite office in Bridgenorth. Over the years he has consolidated his legal practice to the main office on Chemong Road in order to be as accessible as possible and provide the best service for all his clients in the Greater Peterborough area.
Girvin believes clarity is the key to good legal service. He helps each client to fully grasp the processes and legal issues they face by giving clear, practice advice and making complex projects and developments more understandable.
