Biography
Wasique is a Qualified Lawyer who possesses invaluable Legal Education, Training and Experiences handling Complex Litigations.
Currently Wasique working in a Small Law Firm as an Associate and Providing Legal Services to its clients in Family, Civil, Real Estate, Wills and Estate, Immigration, Business and Criminal Matters. He is one of the Founding Partners of SK & Associates, a Full-Service Law Firm located in Bangladesh. This Law firm represents numerous clients comprising Government and Non-Governmental Bodies, Multinationals, Bangladeshi and Foreign Corporate bodies, Financial Institutions, and individuals in Civil and Criminal Litigation, ADR, Corporate Law, Banking and Finance, Intellectual Property, Employment and Industrial Dispute, Real Estate Tax and VAT, Foreign Investment.
He Successfully Completed Master of Law (LL.M) from the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University in 2019 and received Certificate of Qualifications from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) of The Federation of Law Societies of Canada. Wasique obtained his LL. B(Hons) Degree from the University of Wolverhamton, UK in 2007, Wasique completed his Bar Vocational Course (BVC) and Post Graduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) from the Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010 and subsequently got called as a Barrister-at-Law from the Hon'ble Society of Lincoln's Inn, UK.
Upon his return to his Home Country Bangladesh in 2010, Wasique joined one of the Leading Full Service Law Firm of Bangladesh named Amir and Amir Law Associates, which was a distinguished Lex Mundi member firm (Lex Mundi is the world's Leading Network of Independent Law Firms). Wasique enrolled as an Advocate of the District Court and the High Court Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh in the year 2013 and 2017, respectively. Wasique Moved to Canada in 2017 and subsequently got called from the Law Society of Ontario in 2020.
During his tenure at Amir and Amir Law Associates Wasique had the opportunity to develop skills to handle Complex Litigation involving Family, Real Estate, Commercial, Admiralty, Contract, Tort, Public Procurement, Money Laundering, Labor and Employment, Banking, Administrative Tribunal, Human Rights, Constitution. Wasique successfully completed `Doing Business` measuring business regulations Bangladesh part on behalf of the World Bank Group and acknowledged as a contributor for the year 2016.
