Biography
Karon C. Bales, T.E.P., C.S. is a founding partner of Bales Beall LLP. Her practice is centred on family law and estate planning plus their interrelated litigation, particularly in matters of significant assets, complex property protection, and interests in family businesses, often with an international aspect.
Karon acts as a mediator in family and estate disputes.
She’s been listed in Best Lawyers – Canada (the oldest and most respected peer review publication in the legal profession) since 2006. Karon is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Estates and Trusts Law and in Family Law. She is a member, Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) – Worldwide, a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and an Academician, International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
