I am a native English speaking lawyer and leader possessing degrees in Finance and Law with honours, with an international background, federal government Secret level clearance and a functional level in French.
• Two decades of top-level experience as a leader in financial institutions & banking; risk management; securities & derivatives; insurance; corporate & commercial law; corporate governance, legislative & policy interpretation & development/drafting, research & opinions; procurement, sales/acquisitions & leasing; contracting, licensing & intellectual property; financing, competition law; tax; and creditors remedies (including financial institutions insolvency & workouts).
• A senior Director, legal and policy advisor for Federal and Provincial governments housing finance, financial institutions & insolvency, fraud & securities laws, & assisted housing & affordability programs.
