Biography
Carla is an associate at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP, where she articled prior to joining the firm as an associate upon being called to the bar in 2009. Carla attended Dalhousie University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2003, and a Bachelor of Laws in 2008.
Carla is a co-author of Canada and Quebec Pension Plan and Employment Insurance Acts: Quick Reference, the HR Manager’s Guide to Health and Safety, and Accommodation Issues in the Workplace. Carla has also authored papers on various topics in labour, employment and human rights law, and was a Contributing Editor of the Canadian Labour Relations Board Reports from 2010 to 2012. While in law school, Carla published several academic articles on health policy, and prepared a report on workplace mental health for the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
