Biography
Aynsley attended the University of Waterloo as an undergraduate student in the Honours Planning Co-op program, earning a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with a specialization in Land Development Planning in 2008. Prior to pursuing legal studies, she practiced as a planner at Meridian Planning Consultants Inc. Aynsley received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2011, and was the recipient of the John Teed Prize in Community Planning. Aynsley’s articling was focused almost exclusively on planning and municipal law, acting for both municipal and private clients. Aynsley has appeared before all levels of Court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and regularly attends before the Ontario Municipal Board and prosecutes in the Provincial Offences Court. Aynsley was called to the Ontario bar in June, 2012.
