The Ontario Business Registry (OBR) Partner Portal is a convenient, digital service that offers businesses more choices to conduct over 90 transactions with the OBR. It allows intermediaries to conduct transactions on behalf of their business clients and is one of several existing service channels that can be used to interact with the OBR system. Over the past year, the Partner Portal has been continuously improved based on consultation with stakeholders to incorporate desired system features.
The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery is inviting interested intermediaries to apply for access to the Partner Portal as part of a Beta release of the online service. This invitation is part of a gradual expansion of the number of Partner Portal users and will provide intermediaries an opportunity to use the service and provide feedback on the system. This user testing phase allows intermediaries to conduct live transactions on the OBR while giving an opportunity to refine and enhance the portal’s user interface and improve system features based on participant feedback.
