Effective January 1, 2025, all LSO licensees (lawyers and paralegals) must use the Tribunals Ontario Portal (TOP), the Landlord and Tenant Board’s case management system, to access any file-related documents, and to submit certain documents for all proceedings where they are representing a party or where the licensee is a party to the proceeding.
Impacted documents include:
- request for the Board to Issue a Summons;
- Request to Extend or Shorten Time (with no additional request attached);
- Request to Withdraw an Application Form;
- Request for a Discontinuance Order Without a Hearing Form;
- Request to Amend an Order;
- Request to Re-Open an Application;
- L1/L9 – Information Update;
- Request to Add a Representative;
- Unavailable dates for hearings for up to five separate applications;
- Evidence;
- Request to hear files together; and
- Request to Amend an Application.
