TORONTO – Following the close of the election today, the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) is pleased to announce its 2020-2021 Board of Directors. With the combination of experience and new perspectives, the board is ideally suited to continue supporting the profession through the current crisis and into the future.

OBA Launches International Women’s Day Handbag Drive!

TORONTO – The Ontario Bar Association is launching a “handbag drive” in support of Dress for Success Toronto, an organization aimed at empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help them thrive in their work and their life.

Annual Program and Reception at the Law Society Honouring Pride Month

This year’s panel discussion focuses on human rights from the perspective of trans youth, in light of the recent human rights claims filed over Ontario’s sex education curriculum changes.

OBA Launches Province-wide Robe Bank Initiative

Members of the Ontario Bar Association are once again stepping up to help the next generation of lawyers. The OBA has launched a new Robe Bank program that will match people who want to donate or lend their robes with new lawyers who need them across all judicial regions of Ontario.
