In a National Post article, OBA President David Sterns discusses the difficulties with Ontario’s largely paper-based justice system and presses for the implementation of technology.

In an interview with Law Times, David Sterns says pushing for court reform and the digitization of the courts will be at the top of his agenda during his term as OBA president.

In a recent Canadian Press article on new Attorney General Yasir Naqvi’s intent to modernize the justice system, OBA President David Sterns is quoted on the use of technology in the courts.

In accordance with the OBA By-law, all members are hereby advised that the OBA annual meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 7 p.m.

The OBA congratulates the Honourable Michael G. March on his recent appointment to the Ontario Court of Justice.

The Ontario Bar Association congratulates those voted to Canadian Lawyer’s Top 25 Most Influential list for 2016, including the several OBA members honoured.

The OBA congratulates the Board members for 2016-17. Their term of offices begins on August 15th.

The OBA welcomes the 2016-2017 Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Law Section Executive. The new executive takes over in August 15th, 2016. The Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Law executive is responsible for facilitating learning, advocacy and networking on behalf of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Law section.

The Ontario Bar Association extends its congratulations to Paul Schabas on being elected as the new Treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
