It’s going to make it better. And it will probably become essential to a lawyer’s practice.
I am sometimes greeted with skepticism, concern, or wonder when I speak with colleagues about using any new technology in my practice. But when it comes to discussing artificial intelligence in law practice, things get more interesting.
Many AI-related issues come to mind: ethics, regulation of the legal profession, practicality, and professional responsibility. That said, I think AI is an overall positive thing for the practice of law and is making lawyers’ work more interesting and more efficient, and will help us all provide better, more accurate, and more complete legal solutions for our clients. And I’m not the only one.
