Auger Hollingsworth Accident & Injury Lawyers (www.ahinjurylaw.com) want to hire an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Lawyer to have full carriage of plaintiff files from inception through to conclusion. The Lawyer must have at least 3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.

Must “Own Results” in this contingency results-based practice by measuring, tracking and reporting on case progress and settlements. We need a strong litigation lawyer who can roll up their sleeves and step into a full litigation practice.

For the right A Player, you can live anywhere in Ontario if you are willing to do some travel to Toronto and Ottawa. We are offering 100% remote, in-office or hybrid for top candidates.

Outcomes/Deliverables:

  1. Work independently with your law clerk/paralegal to prosecute all plaintiffs’ cases in a timely manner and to achieve a fair, reasonable and timely resolution.
  2. Meet with clients and build cases from inception/pre-litigation through to discovery, mediation, pre-trial and trial.
  3. Plan all cases each quarter forward to ensure that cases will be ready for resolution.
  4. Maintain a weekly target of fair and reasonable settlements in order to ensure clients are receiving excellent results and the firm is generating regular revenue.
  5. Must understand and appreciate the importance of advancing all cases forward on a weekly basis with a view to achieving fair settlements for all clients.
  6. Manage, delegate to and supervise a law clerk/paralegal.
  7. Collaborate with other associate lawyers and firm owners on case development and strategies.
  8. Be continually engaged in continuing legal education, reading case law, attending legal conferences and otherwise learning how to improve your litigation knowledge and skills.
