TORONTO – Roy McMurty will be honoured by the Ontario Bar Association for his contributions to alternative dispute resolution.
McMurty, the former Chief Justice of Ontario and presently counsel at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP, is being recognized for his efforts in helping to establish and promoting alternative dispute resolution in Ontario.
He will be the recipient of the OBA Award for Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution at a gala dinner being held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at the St. Lawrence Hall in Toronto.
