The CBA Child and Youth Law Section encourages you and your colleagues to share your knowledge and expertise for the 2026 update of the Canadian Bar Association's Child Rights Toolkit.
We are looking for suggested content only, in English or en français. We are not asking contributors to draft chapters or do formal writing. We'd be grateful for:
-
Topic suggestions
-
Key legal developments to flag
-
Emerging issues, gaps, or practice insights
-
Recommended cases, legislation, or resources
This approach is intended to make participation accessible and low-burden, while ensuring the Toolkit reflects the best thinking and current realities in child and youth law across jurisdictions.
The deadline for contributions is May 1, 2026. Suggestions can be submitted in point form, by email, or through brief notes—whatever format is easiest for you. Please send suggestions to Rebecca.Bromwich@Carleton.ca before the deadline.
Thank you for considering contributing to this important national resource, and for your ongoing work advancing the rights and wellbeing of children and youth!
