Biography
Angela Ogang is a bilingual Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public for the Province of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Essex University, a Master of Laws degree from Queen Mary, University of London, and a French Legal Studies Diploma from the University of Strasbourg. As a multicultural woman of colour, Angela seeks to build meaningful, enduring and respectful relationships across different cultures. She values the communities in which she works, and holds being of service as her ultimate purpose.

Biography
Emily is a lawyer with McLeod Green Dewar LLP practicing in the areas of family law and child protection. Prior to joining McLeod Green Dewar LLP, Emily articled and practiced at a leading family law firm in downtown Toronto, where she gained experience in all aspects of family law and estate litigation. A tenacious advocate, Emily has successfully represented clients at the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the specialized Estates List. Emily was chosen as the Platinum Winner for the 2021 Waterloo Region Readers Choice Award for Best Family Law Lawyer and was nominated by her peers in The Best Lawyers in Canada: Ones to Watch for 2024 and 2025. In addition to her private practice, Emily is a frequent speaker at legal conferences across Ontario and has been invited numerous times by the Ontario Bar Association as both a chair and speaker. Emily sits on the executive committee for the Ontario Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the Young Lawyer’s Division, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society, and Young Women in Law. A firm believer in the importance of pro bono work, Emily volunteers as legal counsel for Luke’s Place, wherein she provides legal information to women experiencing intimate partner violence and has tailored her Legal Aid work to representing incarcerated parents in federal and provincial institutions seeking parenting time with their children. In her free time, Emily likes to read, support the arts through her involvement as a patron as the National Ballet of Canada, and spend time with her family and friends.

Biography
I was called to the Bar of Ontario in September 2023 Call. Currently, I work as an Assistant Crown Attorney in Northeastern Ontario. In 2024, I completed a judicial clerkship with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice with Distinction. I hold a JD with Distinction (2023) from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. I am the past Ontario Bar Association Student Section Executive, Lincoln Alexander Law’s Ambassador (2022-2023), and a former Fulbright Fellow.

Biography
Stacy Bailey is an associate in the Litigation Group at McCarthy Tétrault LLP (Toronto). She maintains a general litigation practice. Stacy has appeared before administrative tribunals, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal. Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault LLP, Stacy worked in a busy trial practice at a civil litigation firm for over a decade. In that role, Stacy assisted on multiple complex medical malpractice trials and regularly appeared at the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board on appeals arising from patient complaints to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Stacy received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School where she was a Dean’s Fellow for Civil Procedure and Co-Founded the Osgoode Health Law Association. Since 2015, Stacy has also volunteered for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, most recently serving on the Board of the Directors as the Diversity and Inclusion Caucus Chair from 2023 to 2024. Stacy was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society.
