Biography
I am a motivated law student currently pursuing my studies in the English Common Law program at the University of Ottawa. My focus has been on gaining practical experience in the legal field, starting with my licensure as a real estate agent in the Greater Toronto Area. Seeking to deepen my understanding of real estate and construction law, I embarked on my legal education journey. Additionally, I have a strong interest in civil and criminal litigation. Academically, I have honied my research and analytical skills. Participating in Moot competitions has been an invaluable experience, allowing me to gain practical knowledge in labour and employment issues. Collaborating with teammates, crafting persuasive legal arguments, and anticipating counterarguments have been particularly rewarding aspects of these competitions. Beyond my academic pursuits, I am committed to fostering a sense of community within my law school. This commitment is reflected in my leadership roles within the Real Estate Law Association and the Bouldering Solicitors (rock climbing club) where I actively contribute to organizing activities and facilitating communication between the common and civil law programs. Furthermore, I am involved as a volunteer with Ottawa's Women's basketball team, and I am an avid supporter of both my college sports teams, the Ottawa Gee-Gees and my alma mater, the Western Mustangs. With my strong work ethic, passion for the legal field, and dedication to making a positive impact, I am enjoy developing strong relationships with colleagues, where I can leverage my experiences and skills to contribute to the legal profession.Section Executive Liaison
