Christiane Saad
Biography
Christiane Saad is a bilingual lawyer and the Director of the National Consortium for Justice Training. She was the Managing Director of the Law Practice Program (LPP) at the University of Ottawa between 2018 and 2025. She is also a consultant and researcher and collaborate at the interesection of law, technology and legal education. Her areas of pratice include privacy and governance. She holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the French Common Law Program and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from the University of Montreal and a Yellow Belt certification in Lean Sigma® Legal and Project Management. She has been a member of the Law Society of Ontario since 2017. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association (in-coming Chair of the Privacy and Access section, former Chair of the Legal Futures Subcommittee) and the Ontario Bar Association (Chair of the Official Languages Committee and former Chair of the Law Practice Management Section, among others). She is also a member of the Advisory Committee on Access to Justice in French of the Attorney General of Ontario, Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario (former Chair of the Access to Justice Committee and Working Group on Inclusion and diversity) and the County of Carleton Bar Association. She also sits on the boards of directors of non-profit community organizations.Member-At-Large

Biography
Kirsti has worked in diverse legal environments for the past 20+ years. She has used her wide-ranging experience to develop expertise in management, strategy, organizational development, and evaluation. She began her legal career at a national full-service law firm, clerked for the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and then obtained a graduate degree in law from the University of Michigan.
Kirsti worked for almost a decade at Legal Aid Ontario, running projects and managing teams to deliver on key corporate priorities. Her work included policy and research, stakeholder relations, financial modelling, acting as policy liaison for a significant IT build, training, workforce planning and modelling, evaluation, organizational development, and policy implementation.
She left LAO to take on a senior executive role at a nonprofit foundation, where she refined her management skills and gained significant expertise working with smaller organizations and seeing their challenges and opportunities. In this role, was a key driver in the development of diversity and inclusion plans and process improvements. She also developed and implemented a multi-year evaluation plan.
Kirsti taught human rights law at Queen’s University as a sessional professor and taught legal research as both a guest lecturer at the University of Toronto and as a sessional professor at Humber College.
In her spare time, Kirsti applied her skills to co-lead a team that worked extensively with the provincial government to draft and pass the All Families Are Equal Act. This legislation extended parental recognition to LGBTQ parents and made the laws of Ontario more inclusive. .
Most recently, Kirsti built Mathers McHenry & Co. and remains very involved in strategy, finance, operations, and organizational development.

Biography
Angela Ogang is a bilingual Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public for the Province of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Essex University, a Master of Laws degree from Queen Mary, University of London, and a French Legal Studies Diploma from the University of Strasbourg. As a multicultural woman of colour, Angela seeks to build meaningful, enduring and respectful relationships across different cultures. She values the communities in which she works, and holds being of service as her ultimate purpose.
