Mitchell Rose

Mitchell Rose is an Ontario mediator, arbitrator and principal of Rose Dispute Resolution. He helps clients prepare and present their dispute case for settlement. Mitchell provides in-person, virtual and hybrid alternative dispute resolution services in Ontario covering a wide range of civil disputes, including: (employer and employee) employment law; business conflicts (including shareholder remedies and partnership issues); corporate-commercial disputes; debt and mortgage enforcement; estate litigation-insurance matters; professional negligence, and; real estate transaction issues and commercial tenancies.
Inna Koldorf
Biography
Inna is an employment and labour lawyer and a workplace investigator at Miller Thomson LLP. She assists companies with managing their workforce and addressing human resources legal matters. Inna completed a double major in Sociology and Law & Society before completing her law degree. Inna previously served as the Vice-President of the Northview Heights Early Learning Centre Board of Directors, a member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Continuing Legal Education Committee, a member of the Ontario Labour Relations Board Advisory Committee, a Director on the Board of Directors of the Yellow Brick House and a Director on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mental Health Association of York and South Simcoe. She is currently serving on the Ontario Bar Association Labour and Employment Law Section Executive.
Prateek Suman Awasthi
Biography
Prateek is an Associate in the firm’s Toronto office. He maintains a broad and diverse legal practice, advocating for federally and provincially regulated employers before courts, tribunals and arbitrators. Drawing on over a decade of global experience in advocacy, non-profit management and government-relations, Prateek advises employers to help them successfully navigate their most difficult and complex workplace issues. Prateek was an articling student with Mathews Dinsdale before returning as an Associate. After graduating from law school, he completed his Masters of Public Administration from Columbia University. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at the United Nations in New York, and with Engineers Without Borders Canada. Along with a working knowledge of French, he is also fluent in Spanish, Hindi and Marathi.

Hilary Cook
Biography
Since her call to the Bar in 2001, Hilary Cook has worked in the areas of Labour, Employment, and Human Rights. Hilary also has experience in Professional Regulation, short- and long-term disability claims, workplace Health and Safety, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, and Workers' Compensation, among other areas of law. Hilary's twenty years of labour relations and grievance experience include hospitals, health care, post-secondary (Universities and Community Colleges), community agencies, developmental services, arts and culture, not-for-profit, government workplaces as well as large and small private sector and for-profit employers. Hilary teaches university courses in employment law, labour law, workplace mediation, and educational law.

Kira Clarke
Biography
Kira Clarke is a bilingual (English/French) advocate with extensive litigation experience before all levels of court, administrative tribunals, and in arbitral proceedings. She currently serves as in house counsel for the Region of Durham, where she practices in the areas of Labour and Employment and Aboriginal Law. Kira is deeply committed to the advancement of the legal profession and has demonstrated that commitment through consistent and longstanding involvement with the Ontario Bar Association. She has served on multiple Section Executives, Committees, Subcommittees, and Council. Outside of practice and professional service, Kira enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring Canada’s natural landscapes.
Sasha Hart

Sasha Hart is the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Sasha Hart Law, where she practices in the areas of employment, human rights and non-profit/charity law. Sasha provides legal services to both organizations and individuals. For non-profits, charities, unions and other mission-driven organizations, Sasha provides fractional General Counsel services, helping to effectively navigate complex legal issues so they can focus their resources on advancing their mission. She also conducts workplace investigations, provides strategic advice on governance and equity issues, and delivers training to leadership, boards and staff on a range of topics. For individuals, Sasha provides representation in employment and human rights matters. She has appeared before various levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada in a Charter matter. Sasha’s past roles have included serving as General Counsel for the Public Service Alliance of Canada, Litigation Counsel for the Canadian Human Rights Commission, and Legal Counsel for an international non-profit organization engaged in advocacy relating to gender-based violence. She has also taught human rights law as a Part-time Professor at the University of Ottawa. Sasha is actively involved in the legal community. She currently serves on the board of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), the Advocacy Committee of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, and the executive of the Ontario Bar Association’s Labour and Employment Law Section. In addition to other awards she has received, in 2021 Sasha was awarded the Lexpert Rising Star Award recognizing Canada’s Leading Lawyers Under 40.
