Yazhi Zheng is the Founder and Managing Lawyer of Yazhi Law Professional Corporation, located in Toronto’s financial district. Earlier in her career, Yazhi worked at top-ranked international law firms, including one of Canada’s most respected international trade teams. Biography
Yusra Khan-Elliott, CIC.C is a senior in-house counsel with over a decade of experience in financial services regulatory law, corporate governance, and commercial contracting. Yusra is called to the bar in British Columbia and Ontario. She currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary for a Canadian joint venture within a global financial services organization, and previously led regulatory advisory engagements for major Canadian banks and served as Director, Market Conduct & Legal Counsel at a federal credit union during Canada's first Schedule I credit union banking licence conversion. Yusra holds a JD from UBC's Allard School of Law, a CIC.C from the Rotman School of Management, and a BA in Economics from McGill University. She is an elected Executive Member of the OBA's International Law Section and a Board Director at STEPS Public Art. Previously she has volunteered with Pro Bono BC, Pro Bono Ontario, and with the CBA Women Lawyers Forum.
